Welcome! The International Trombone Hang is a friendly community of enthusiastic trombonists and musicians that are interested in collaborating and sharing ideas for the benefit of others. We meet regularly via Zoom and offer help and advice toward practicing and playing. We rotate presenters and have several guests that share their knowledge and experience. international trombone hang? what's that?
It all began as a way to stay connected (and motivated) during the lock-downs and cancelled gigs brought on by the COVID-19 Pandemic. We offered group warm-ups with some friends who had a strong sense of community and an eagerness to share. Since then, the ITH has expanded to hundreds of participants from over 25 different countries and continues to attract players and enthusiasts of all ages and ability levels.
It is also amazing to see several of the world's leading players and teachers willing to offer their insight for the betterment of the community. All presenters and guest artists have given their knowledge and time for free, so anyone, regardless of economic situation, can benefit and learn how to better practice and perform on the trombone.
